Bright Ideas

There’s a place for subtlety and there’s and place to be bold. And sometimes that’s in the same room. You don’t have to paint your kitchen bright pink to get a kick (although I am dying to do a pink kitchen). You just add little color, a little pop to draw the eye and voila! Same-old turns into something special. These pictures show some of my favorite warm hues in some of my favorite houses. Banish away those gray winter blues and feel the warmth of these springtime shades poppy-ing up in unexpected places.
